School Awards
We are proud to celebrate the achievements and recognition our school has received. These awards reflect our commitment to providing a high-quality, inclusive, and enriching learning environment for all pupils.
Our current accreditations include the Healthy Early Years Award, Eco Award, and Maths Hub, all of which highlight our dedication to pupil wellbeing, environmental responsibility, and excellence in mathematics.
Healthy Early Years Award - We are proud to announce that Newington Green School has achieved the Healthy Early Years London Bronze Award. This recognition reflects our commitment to supporting the health, wellbeing and development of our children in the Early Years through positive learning experiences, healthy lifestyles and strong partnerships with families. We will continue to promote a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Eco-Schools Green Flag Award - The Eco-Schools Green Flag Award recognises schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Our dedicated Eco Squad led a range of initiatives throughout the year, including gardening projects, reducing plastic waste and promoting sustainable practices across the school. Their hard work and commitment resulted in our school achieving the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award.

Maths Hub Award - Working with the Maths Hub continues to be a significant strength of our school's commitment to excellence in mathematics education. Through this partnership, we remain at the forefront of research-informed practice, ensuring that teaching and learning in mathematics is continually refined and enhanced for all pupils. We are particularly proud that our Maths Lead is an accredited Professional Development Lead, recognised for her expertise and leadership within the wider educational community. In this role, she facilitates Maths Hub work groups for colleagues from other schools, supporting the development of high-quality mathematics teaching across London Central and NW. This reflects not only the strength of mathematics provision within our own school but also our commitment to contributing to system-wide improvement and ensuring that best practice is shared beyond our school community.
