Nursery Admissions
The Federation has a dedicated team of experienced leaders, qualified teachers and early years practitioners who provide exceptional care, learning and personal development for all children. Our nurseries have an established reputation for ‘high quality’ care and education amongst our current and returning families. We offer a wide range of provision to support the needs of all families.
3 and 4-Year-Old Nursery Provision
The nursery for 3 and 4-year olds (Apple Class) operates from Mondays to Fridays during the school term. Sessions are offered as morning or afternoon sessions.
- Morning session: 8:45am -11:45am or
- Afternoon session: 12:30pm – 3:30pm
2 Year Old Nursery Provision
We opened our 2 Year Old Provision (Cherry Tree Class) in May 2016.
Islington refurbished our previous Nursery building to a high standard, and also the extensive outdoor area for all early years children.
The nursery operates from Mondays – Fridays during the school term.
- Morning session: 8:45am -11:45am or
- Afternoon session: 12:30pm – 3:30pm

Childcare Funding Options
Families can access government funded early education schemes that provide 15 hours of funded childcare during the school term
- 15 hours funded childcare for eligible 2 year olds
- 15 hours funded childcare for all 3 and 4 year olds
Tax-free Childcare
The government offers tax-free childcare to working families. Some working families are eligible for 30 hours of free childcare. We offer both 15 and 30 hour places to children in the term after their third birthday.
To find out if you are eligible for 30 hours of free nursery funding, please check your eligibility for tax-free childcare. If you are eligible, you will be issued with an 'eligibility code' which you will need to bring into school to confirm your application.
