  • Cheska Runs

    Thu 12 Mar 2020

Here is the 5th video in my series. This one is all about having a training plan, and what it is made up of over a ‘normal’ week of training. https://www.dropbox.com/ s/30530ndd5n5h7cq/CRL_5.mp4?dl=0

The children have viewed this but it would be great to talk to your children about the importance of planning and preparing how you would reach a goal. I generally add one mile each week to my long runs, I am up to 16 miles this week!

Well done to those of you who are working hard on getting yourselves active – please keep me updated on what you’re getting up to. I will be organising another Parent Mile shortly and would love to see lots of you there!

A big WELL DONE to teachers Musa and Charlotte who both ran the Big Half on Sunday! They did brilliantly.

I’m getting closer to my target and would like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone that has donated so far, especially to you lovely adults! Here is the link if you’d like to read what I am fundraising for and how to donate: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/ cheskarunslondon

  • The School Nursing Team

    Thu 12 Mar 2020

The School Nursing Team will be in school on Wednesday 11th March to run a health and well-being clinic.

Things that parent/carers can discuss with your school health team include:

    • Sleep routines• Dental health• Toileting routines including bedwetting and soiling.• Diet and nutrition including fussy eating or concerns about weight.• Infections including management of head lice and threadworms.• Body changes and puberty• Emotional health of your child or yourself• Support in managing health issues that impact on attendance.

When you talk to your school health team you talk ‘in confidence’ which means the health professional will not talk about what you have said to other people or to your school without discussing this with you first wherever possible and getting your consent to share.

If you would like to book a meeting with the School Nursing Team please see Parul (Home School Worker) Helen (Deputy Headteacher) or Nicola (Assistant Headteacher) who will book you in.
